American Madrassas... or How To Create Fanatical Liberal America Haters, For Tomorrow!

I recently watched a documentary about the fanatical Islamic Madrassas in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and other Islamic nations and was reminded how similar the brainwashing of Children in our school systems by the "Anti-American Leftist Teachers" and Professors in America actually was to the Madrassas.

Both take very innocent minds and not so subtly instill extreme doctrine and other biased information in a way that makes even a normally independent young thinker into a follower that is conditioned to accept what is given to them as truth without question.

Students are intimidated into following along with the "group think" and through the years too many of them are successfully molded into today’s type of Anti-American liberal.

Our Country is concerned about Terrorist threats and how Islamic Terrorists are created through years of brainwashing and training from their early Childhood throughout their school years and on, while at the very same time, American Students in Schools and Colleges across our country are being indoctrinated with a “Socialist Liberal Anti-American Mantra” calculated by the Liberal Teachers and Professors to produce our nations future Radical Liberals.

Indoctrination being its essence...

You don't think airheads like George Clowney, Alek Baldwin, Nancy Pilosi, Michael Moore and Howard Dean actually became the radical lamebrains they are by cultivating original thought do you?  They're a product of years of Liberal indoctrination... and probably haven't had an original thought in decades!

American Students are being conditioned the same way!

Today’s Anti-American Liberals are a threat to our Nation too, just like Islamic Terrorists are, because radical Liberals are working internally, like a cancer... slowly eating away at the structure of our American society to subvert our nations morals and keep our societies wounds they've created from healing.

They don't love the United States normal Americans love; they have a different, socialist/communist goal for it.

The ACLU (probably the most Anti-American, pro-Socialist/Communist organization of all the leftist organizations) fights against school prayer, fights against school classes reciting the pledge of allegiance, constantly attacks patriotic organizations like the Boy Scouts and others that would dare to want to instill a sense of American or Christian pride in our youth.  The ACLU defends perverted sexual conduct by defending NAMBLA and other perverted behavior, and basically defends and supports anything that will eat away at the moral fabric of our great country.

They hate America and want to change it.

Why do we allow it to go on?  Our Countries internal enemies continue to use the propaganda of conformity to attack our way of life and the America we love...  Why should Patriotic Americans have to conform to their concept of how America should change? Since when do enemies have the freedom to attack you without fear of being retaliated against?  Why do we sit back and watch while we allow ourselves and our culture to be destroyed?

All "Normal" Patriotic Americans have to do what they can to fight the scumbags that are intent on destroying our society.  What you do, or not do, is going to shape the future of America, and what it's going to be like living in it for years to come.

More "Normal Americans" must gain control of the School Boards of the schools their children attend, and terminate the Administrators that refuse to terminate the Teachers that abuse the credentials they were given to influence children.  Teachers Unions that defend radical Anti-American behavior must be crushed, and ethical Teachers Unions formed in their stead.  Radical Teachers should be charged with aiding to the delinquency of minors for the damage they have done and are continuing to do to the psyche of our children.  Hitler did the same thing with his "Hitler Youth" in Germany that the Radical Liberals are doing to the School Children in our own country.  Liberal Activist Teachers are indoctrinating our youngest, most susceptible Citizens at an early age, to achieve the Liberal Socialist Un-American concept of the country they want America to become.

"Hearts and Minds" Friends, Hearts and Minds...  what we are witnessing is psychological warfare being imposed upon our societies most susceptible members by a "sixth column" of United States hating School Administrators, Teachers and College Professors... and the "good guys" that are teaching and professing in schools and colleges are vastly outnumbered by the socialist con-artists.

It took years for this “Sixth Column” of Liberal Socialists to gain almost total control of our school systems, and we don’t have many years to get it back, changes have to be made "double-time" before the America we know and love is irretrievably altered.

Are we to sit back and allow this brainwashing of our children to continue?  Absolutely not, and now that the subject is a real issue, maybe together Normal Americans will unite and do something about it!

Do you ever wonder why we have brainwashed Idiot Protesters to contend with so often?   Our school systems are busy breeding most of the anti-American Morons... with your tax dollars.  Please pay close attention to what your children are being told while they're in school!

It strikes me as odd that so many Parents allow their children to be influenced by Teachers that they usually know nothing about. Some Parents go to a meeting and have no idea who the Teacher REALLY is that is telling them their concept of "progress" the children are making.

What does that "Teacher" think of America... God... Patriotism... work ethics... family respect... and last but not least on this list, Politics!

I have presented these questions to my Daughter’s Grammar School Teachers in the past and you would be amazed at the indignity they exhibited just because I wanted to know who was influencing her for all those hours every day, year after year.  After all, you wouldn't want a child molester being with your son or daughter for hours each day, why would you allow such lengthy contact with a stranger for just as long only because they managed to get credentials saying they're qualified to teach your kids?

The same goes for High School, if you ask questions, just maybe your Sons and Daughters will make it through to College not buying the usual sales pitch many of the "Ex-Hippy" Professors and socialist/communist oriented Teachers are selling these days!

Children must be taught at an early age not to be afraid to question their Teachers opinions.

There are extremely few Conservative Professors being hired by our countries colleges. If your children are not prepared by you, they are going to be conned by the best Liberals there are.

It's time all parents spend some time questioning the strangers beliefs that spend hours a day influencing their kids before the damage is slowly done and permanent.  Don't let it get to a point where your kids are conditioned to not believe in the America that you believe in.

If any Grammar School or High School Teacher refuses to discuss their personal history and political beliefs with you, (as their Students Parents) and that Teacher is going to be addressing similar issues and subjects with your kids, it's time to remove your Kids from the class or alternatively, you can at the least, give the Teacher a fair warning that you will not tolerate un-American brainwashing being taught to your kids and you will be watching what goes on.

Teaching must be done in a standard manner, without brainwashing the Students with the Teachers personal outlook on politics, anti-patriotism and totally liberal or conservative beliefs. Children need room for thought, and it should be the parents that guide them towards their political beliefs until they're advanced enough to know “good” from “bad” or Socialist Liberal from Capitalist Conservative.

We trust our offspring too often with "strangers" that happen to have gone to a College and are now being called "Teachers"... you’ve got to let them know you’re there watching and will take action if a Activist Teacher goes too far.

It's the only way to gain back control of what our Kids are being fed all day long. Make sure those "strangers" know you are keeping your eye on the influence they are peddling to your Children. You all may just help save the future of your children and our American society.

"Stranger Danger" is something you have to warn your children about when they're very young, make sure you include their Teachers as potential threats as well when they become of school age.

Review: Horowitz: The 101 Most Dangerous Academics in America

THE ACADEMY: AMERICA'S SIXTH COLUMN - In 1936, Spain was ravaged by a civil war, pitting Franco's “Nationalists” against the international Left's “Republicans.” In a radio speech, Nationalist General Emilio Mola, while speaking of his four armed columns of regulars advancing on Madrid, referred to other supporters already inside the capital whose task was to gnaw at the government from within. They were, Mola said, his “Fifth Column”- a description that aptly describes the cohort of lawyers and others who today are undermining this country's attempt to protect its citizens from the scourge of terrorism.

Until now, this Fifth Column was the most recognizable internal threat to America, thanks to considerable exposure by this author and others, especially on the Internet in Front Page Magazine.  Now, with the publication of David Horowitz's new book The Professors, he (with the help of a team of researchers) has made the irrefutable case that there exists in virtually every college and graduate school in the United States what I call a “Sixth Column”-a cohort of America-hating academics who are poisoning the minds of their students by filling them with lies about, and hatred for, western civilization in general and American values in particular.

Lest any of Horowitz's critics or enemies attempt to denigrate the case he makes in The Professors-as did a shallow, partisan TV talking-head recently-suffice to say that the book contains nearly one thousand footnotes and a broad and deep range of sources.  Indeed, the book is unimpeachable in its proof of Horowitz's thesis that the academics spotlighted in "The Professors" are dangerous people-dangerous to the young adults in their charge, and dangerous to the safety of the United States.

In his Introduction to The Professors, Horowitz begins making his case by describing in some detail the now-familiar circus of which Ward Churchill has been ringmaster. Churchill, among other things, is a self-aggrandizing America hater, a fake Indian, a plagiarizing writer, a second-hand artist, and an academic fraud who lied and schemed his way to a professorship and department chairmanship at the University of Colorado-all qualities that apparently endeared him to the far Left, whose patronage Churchill has long enjoyed.

The theme of Churchill's entire academic career, Horowitz writes, is that:
America was like Hitler Germany, a nation dedicated to the extermination of minorities; its capitalistic economic machine starving poor people all over the world all the time. Therefore, the “civilians” who comprised what Churchill referred to as its “technical core”-the inhabitants of the World Trade Center-were little Eichmanns, cogs in a machine that churned out mass murder. (Adolf Eichmann was the Nazi bureaucrat who organized the shipment of Jews to the gas chambers).

In Churchill's view, there was no “better way of visiting some penalty befitting their participation” in the workings of America's global economy (and thus global genocide) than incinerating Americans in their place of work.

Worse even than this, much worse in fact, according to Horowitz, is [t]hat such views could earn an individual like Churchill a full professorship at a major state university and the responsibility and power of a department chair . . . .

And to take the point one more step forward and focus on the major theme of The Professors, Horowitz writes that Churchill's success spoke volumes about academic corruption not only in Colorado but in the ethnic studies field. That Churchill was a sought-after speaker by universities across the country was a chilling indictment of an entire system.

That system is far worse than even most well informed Americans can begin to grasp. I spent over twenty years on one law faculty, and taught at another as a visiting professor. I had been generally cognizant of how civility and scholarship eroded in the academy during those two decades and since. None of that knowledge, however, prepared me for the revelations contained in The Professors. As Horowitz has written, When viewed as a whole, the 101 portraits in this volume reveal several disturbing patterns of university life, which are reflected in careers like Ward Churchill's. These include

(1) promotion far beyond academic achievement . . .

(2) teaching subjects outside one's professional qualifications and expertise for the purpose of political propaganda . . .

(3) making racist and ethnically disparaging remarks in public without eliciting reactions by university administrations, so long as those remarks are directed at unprotected groups, e.g., Armenians, whites, Christians, and Jews . . .

(4) the overt introduction of political agendas into the classroom and the abandonment of any pretense of academic discipline or scholarly inquiry.

These “disturbing patterns” jump from the page in Chapter 1, which contains the 101 portraits of “the most dangerous academics in America.”

There are those who liken the 9/11 terrorists to America's Founding Fathers, fighting for a just cause, and those who accuse the United States of aggressive war against Islam.

There are those who support terrorists like Ayatollah Khomeni, who revere Communists like Fidel Castro, who call for an Intifada in the United States, and who supported Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait.

There are former street criminals, bomb-makers and throwers, ex-Weathermen, former Black Panthers, Fifth Column lawyers, even a recipient of the Lenin Peace Prize.

There are members of Islamic Jihad, Islamic fundamentalists, avowed Marxists, and self-proclaimed Leninists.

There are those who believe that the United States, indeed the world, is run by a secret conspiracy of Jews.

There are anti-Semites, and those who lionize Palestinian killers, and demonize Israel.

There are those who view Israelis as Nazis, who consider suicide bombers martyrs, and who blame 9/11 on the United States and/or Israel.

There are those who attack the United States on the rabidly anti-American TV station Al-Jazeera, and those who believe that Cuba and Communist China are political and economic democracies.

There is one who called for a “'million Mogadishus'- the 1993 military ambush in Somalia that killed 18 Americans” and caused Clinton to cut and run, sending a message to Osama bin Laden that America would not stand and fight.

There is one whose final exam asks to “explain why the United States liberation of Iraq is 'criminal'.” There is one who wants an independent Hispanic state in the American Southwest, and another who regards America as a “proto-fascist” state.

There are lecturers, assistant professors, associate professors, full professors, the untenured and tenured, holders of distinguished endowed chairs, and prestigious University Scholars.

(APFTE Comment: And there are probably those that are now Administrators in the Universities ensuring the success of the other Anti-Americans mentioned in this article...)

And dozens and dozens more in Horowitz's rogues gallery of academics who rant and rave in their classes to captive students, spewing hate-filled, pro-Marxist, anti-American, openly nihilistic radical Islamic propaganda.

As shocking as this is, worse yet is that it's a mere microcosm of the academy in today's United States. Horowitz asks:

How many radical professors are there on American faculties of higher education? According to the federal government, the total number of college and university professors in the United States is 617,000. If we were to take the Harvard case reviewed at the end of this volume as a yardstick [the recent PC-driven troubles, and now resignation, of president Lawrence Summers], and assume a figure of 10 percent per university faculty, and then cut that figure in half to control for the possibility that Harvard may be a relatively radical institution, the total number of such professors at American universities with views similar to the spectrum represented in this volume would still be in the neighborhood of 25,000 - . 30,000. The number of students annually passing through their classrooms would be of the order of a hundred times that, or three million.

This is a figure that ought to trouble every educator who is concerned about the quality of higher education and every American who cares about the country's future.
And every parent.

Unbeknownst to many parents who pack their children off to college and write hefty checks that are supposed to purchase education, what they are getting for their money is not only just the opposite, it is even worse: their kids, most probably intellectually and politically tabula rasa as they enter the academy, are being brainwashed into believing that monstrous evil is the good. And they are being taught to hate the most noble nation ever to grace this earth.

For his devastating exposure of the Sixth Column's desecrating inversion of values, and its deadly long range consequences for the United States - a nation said to be “the last, best hope of mankind”- all Americans should be profoundly grateful, once again, to David Horowitz.

A MINORITY VIEW
BY WALTER E. WILLIAMS

YOUTH INDOCTRINATION UPDATE

Several weeks ago, I wrote about Overland High School teacher Jay Bennish's indoctrination of his geography class. In commenting on President Bush's State of the Union address, he told his 10th-graders: "Sounds a lot like the things Adolf Hitler used to say." "Bush is threatening the whole planet." "[The] U.S. wants to keep the world divided." Then he asks his class, "Who is probably the most violent nation on the planet?" and then shouts "The United States!"

After that tirade, which included many other anti-American remarks, he gave the students the "definition" of capitalism -- telling them that "capitalism is at odds with humanity, at odds with caring and compassion and at odds with human rights."

After public exposure by my column and Denver talk-show host Mike Rosen's radio interview with 16-year-old Sean Allen, who recorded Bennish's comments, and his dad, Jeff Allen, the Cherry Creek School District placed Mr. Bennish on administrative leave. The indoctrination story became nationwide news after being picked up by major media and talk radio. The overwhelming response, including that of Colorado's governor, Bill Owens, to Bennish's classroom tirade has been disgust.

Last Friday, Dr. Monte Moses, Cherry Creek School District superintendent, announced that their investigation of Jay Bennish's remarks and complaints against him were complete and he'll be allowed to return to teaching at Overland High School. Dr. Moses did make a mealy-mouthed statement that the teacher's "practice and deportment need growth and refinement."

Like a few others who have defended Jay Bennish, Dr. Moses talked about academic freedom and First Amendment guarantees. Others have criticized and even threatened Sean Allen for recording and making the teacher's comments public. The issue is neither academic freedom and free speech nor public exposure of the teacher's comments.

It's academic and intellectual dishonesty when a teacher, who is supposed to be teaching geography, uses his classroom to indoctrinate relatively uninformed teenagers. Recording the teacher's comments broke neither school policy nor Colorado law. But more importantly, I believe that what teachers say in class should be subject to parental and public scrutiny.

I've taught economics for 37 years. I encourage students to record my lectures. Moreover, I tell them that the class deals with positive economics and if they hear me make a statement appearing to be an opinion, without saying so, they are to raise their hands and say, "Professor Williams, we didn't take this class to be indoctrinated with your personal opinions passed off as economic theory; that's academic dishonesty." I also tell them that if I ever preface a comment with, "In my opinion," they can stop taking notes because my opinion is irrelevant to economic theory.

I've received numerous letters from all over our country saying that indoctrination at Overland High School is by no means unique. It's widespread, and much of it is anti-American. Where the indoctrination is not anti-American, it's an attack on family values and traditional standards of decency. The unique aspect of the Overland High School affair is the hard, undeniable recorded evidence. Without it, teachers and administrators might have lied, denied or misrepresented what was said. After all, it would be the word of a teenager against an adult professional. Today's micro technology, might be just what the doctor ordered to put a stop to teachers using their position to indoctrinate our youth.

Preaching instead of teaching might go a long way toward explaining why in civics, math, reading, writing and geography, nearly a quarter of all students leave high school with academic skills that are "Below Basic," the category the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) uses for students unable to display even partial mastery of knowledge and skills fundamental for proficient work at their grade level. In science, 47 percent leave high school with skills Below Basic, and in American history, it's 57 percent. I'd like for Jay Bennish's supporters to explain how his indoctrination will help that.
