The Newsom Family comments...

Volunteer TV spoke with Christopher's family on Monday who say even four and a half months later...losing their son is still no easier to deal with.

"He just really enjoyed life and that's what hurts so bad that his life was taken away and he was way too young for that," Mary Newsom says.

As Chris Newsom's parents imagine what may have happened one fateful day in January...

"I sit in that chair at night and look over at that picture and I just cry... tears roll down my cheeks... I think of what they did to him... him just laying there burned," Mary says.

They lean on each other... reading each other's thoughts... finishing the other's sentences...

"Both of them suffered... tremendously... they had to... in their last hours of life," Hugh & Mary Newsom say.

As they support each other... they are also supporting a promise they both made to Chris in death.

"I would be present when any one of those animals made their appearance. I would be there to represent him and I intend to keep that promise," Hugh says.

But they say even justice won't help them heal completely.

"We're all trying to get through this and recover, but there's not gonna be any closure," Mary says.

They receive love, prayers and support from every direction... they also say they knew Chris died trying to protect his soulmate Channon Christian.

"He was so much in love with her. That compounds our loss," Hugh says.

"He had golfed all that day and came home to change... and had a big smile on his face when he came down the stairs and we knew he had a date with her," Mary says.

But her family, Channon Christian's family, helps them heal...

"They're the only ones who can really understand the way we feel, because they know we feel the same way," Mary says.

And the Newsom's find a different strength in their own family...

"We have three other children and grandchildren and we have to go on for them," Hugh says.

With each day that passes... Chris's memory lives on in the Newsom home... through pictures... through smiles... through the many, many, memories.

"He was either at the golf course, or he was out fishing or he was playing tennis... or with Channon," Mary says.

Now they believe he's with Channon... and will be forever.

The Newsom family asks for your prayers, support, even from those they don't know, is helping them heal.

Atrocity in America

This is an atrocity!

This is the perfect example of the priorities in this country today.
Everyday we come home to turn on the television and see that Anna Nicole Smith has died. Every station, every broadcast, every topic is of how she died and who is the father of her illegitimate child.

That's right folks, a stripper takes precedent over brutal torture and racist actions.
What the hell is going on? Our swayed media is so caught up on what's 'TV' savvy, that they leave out the horrible injustices that are taking place in our country.

The torture of the two Americans from Tennessee has not hit the national news with the hailstorm of the likes of Britney Spears shaving her head. Who cares? They do, the media. Because Britney sells. Two brutalized white kids from Tennessee won't make the media money.

There is without a question, that if a group of white people tortured two black kids to the extent that would have involved verbal abuse alone. The major networks would have been all over it. But some liberal out there is justifying their actions. Saying it is because of black rage, or their ancestors were slaves...

The truth is, that the blacks were taught to hate whites by other blacks. The media won't pick it up because its "taboo" nowadays to talk about black violence against whites. The race mongers can't make any money off of it!

Quiet! Listen! Shhhhh! Anyone hear Al, Jesse, Louis Farrakhan ranting about this incident as an injustice? Nope, I don't hear a thing!

Something has to be done! We must not stand for this! Caucasians in this country are becoming so apologetic for their very existence that liberal guilt is being taught, NO, forced upon them in the mainstream schools and media.

Every day whites teach their children not to see color. Not to be conscience of race or creed. Whites teach their children to see the person. To judge only by the actions of a person. Blacks in this county teach their children that they are victims and they should protest and "get theirs".

Everyday I see blacks wearing T- shirts that say; "100% Black" and "Black by popular demand". If I was to wear a shirt that said "White boys rule" or "White is right" I would be classified as a racist hate monger who is ignorant and a member of the Ku Klux Klan. This double standard has to stop! But I wouldn't wear such a shirt. Why? Because I don't think that way. I wasn't raised to think that way. I don't think because of my skin color that I am better than anyone else.

These perpetrators must be held publicly accountable. They must pay the ultimate penalty, as would anyone, who would have committed such a horrendous crime.

But whites in this country have become too passive. Its easier to just turn the other cheek and say "Oh, let them spew misguided facts, I don't want conflict" Well guess what! You have conflict now, and something better be done soon!

Equality? What does that mean anymore? We have jostled the system so much with set-asides and preferential treatment to ease our self indulged quilt, that we can't define equality anymore.

I hear "talk" every day about slave ships, horrible treatment and oppression. The month of February is Black History Month.

Well, why isn't the month of March Irish history month?

The Irish were starved off of their own lands, forced upon ships, starved to death, beaten, spat upon and made to become slaves by the same people who oppressed the Africans - the English and Dutch colonist, which only 1 in 500 people owned slaves. The keepers of slaves today are native black Africans. Keeping other black Africans! Its horrible, I attest!

If you were a black male during the mid 1800's in great physical shape you were worth about $350.00 a lot of money for the time! You were taken care of, clothed, housed and fed. After all, who is going to purchase an investment then mistreat it? But because of the media "The great Levar Burton" in Roots, we think that all slaves were were beaten and every white person owned one.

In New Orleans alone, a major slave city, 13% of the slave owners were black! But you won't hear that being taught in schools.

If you were an Irish male in great physical condition, in the mid 1800's, you were worth nothing. You were greeted with a sign that said, "Die, MICK, Die!" or "Help wanted Irish need not apply", "Go Home Mick! Go Home!".

But, what did the Irish do? They did what every other race in this country did! They fought for jobs, educated themselves, became Presidents and executives of corporations. NO ONE gave them a damn thing because they were oppressed by Englishmen. You don't hear them whining constantly. My ancestors never owned anyone. They never oppressed anyone. I will not apologize to anyone for anything! My taxes already pay for public housing, schools, food, grants, transportation...

I am the son of LEGAL Irish /Scots immigrants and I have yet to see special treatment! I don't want special treatment. I will not raise my children to think that they are entitled to anything, except air!

You want it, work for it. Because no one owes you a damn thing!

This land of entitlement must stop! My parents came here and devoted their lives to America, all America! Not a divided country as is in Ireland and Scotland. They are the living embodiment of what America is supposed to stand for.

The Liberal media in this country IS the contributing factor to the down fall of race relations.
Hard working blacks, true Americans, that are devoted to this country and the prospering for future generations need to stand up and fight for what's right! Because, whites in this country have become too passive.

Whites have laid the ground work for the elimination of their own race. (See the Rev. Jesse L. Peterson's article on Hurricane Katrina).

We must all stand together if we are to have "One Nation Under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for ALL"! Whites, Blacks and any other color that live in America.

Remember, There is NO word in front of American.

The Truth of Interracial Rape in the United States

Like Ahab's search for the Great White Whale, liberals' search for the Great White Defendant is relentless and never-ending.

When, in 1988, Tawana Brawley's and Al Sharpton's then year-old spectacular charge that several white men including prosecutor Steven Pagones (whose name Brawley had picked out of a newspaper article) had abducted and raped the 15 year old was shown to be completely false, the Nation said it didn't matter, since the charges expressed the essential nature of white men's treatment of black women in this country.

When the Duke University lacrosse players were accused of raping a black stripper last year, liberals everywhere treated the accusation as fact, because, just as with the Nation and Tawana Brawley, the rape charge seemed to the minds of liberals to reflect the true nature of oppressive racial and sexual relations in America.

To see the real truth of the matter, let us take a look at the Department of Justice document Criminal Victimization in the United States, 2005. (Go to the linked document, and under "Victims and Offenders" download the file for 2005.)

In Table 42, entitled "Personal crimes of violence, 2005, percent distribution of single-offender victimizations, based on race of victims, by type of crime and perceived race of offender," we learn that there were 111,590 white victims and 36,620 black victims of rape or sexual assault in 2005. (The number of rapes is not distinguished from those of sexual assaults; it is maddening that sexual assault, an ill-defined category that covers various types of criminal acts ranging from penetration to inappropriate touching, is conflated with the more specific crime of rape.)

In the 111,590 cases in which the victim of rape or sexual assault was white, 44.5 percent of the offenders were white, and 33.6 percent of the offenders were black.

In the 36,620 cases in which the victim of rape or sexual assault was black, 100 percent of the offenders were black, and 0.0 percent of the offenders were white. The table explains that 0.0 percent means that there were under 10 incidents nationally.

The table does not give statistics for Hispanic victims and offenders. But the bottom line on interracial white/black and black/white rape is clear:

"In the United States in 2005, 37,460 white females were sexually assaulted or raped by a black man, while between zero and ten black females were sexually assaulted or raped by a white man.

What this means is that every day in the United States, over one hundred white women are raped or sexually assaulted by a black man."

The Department of Justice statistics refer, of course, to verified reports. According to the Wikipedia article on rape, as many as half of all rape charges nationally are determined by police and prosecutors to be false:

Linda Fairstein, former head of the New York County District Attorney's Sex Crimes Unit, noted, "There are about 4,000 reports of rape each year in Manhattan. Of these, about half simply did not happen.... It's my job to bring justice to the man who has been falsely accused by a woman who has a grudge against him, just as it's my job to prosecute the real thing."

No wonder there was such absolute belief in the guilt of the Duke students among the leading sectors of liberal America. A drug-addled, half-deranged, promiscuous black stripper accused three young white men of raping her.

There are virtually zero rapes of black women by white men in the United States, and half of all rape charges against specific individuals turn out to be false. But in the agnostic, inverted world of liberal demonology, the white students had to be guilty.

Meanwhile, in the real America, week after week, the newspapers report the rapes of white women by black men—though, of course, without ever once using the words, "a white woman was raped by black man."

Just last week in the New York Post there was a story about a serial black rapist who invaded women's apartments on Manhattan's Upper West Side; you knew the rapist was black from a police drawing accompanying the story, and you knew the victims were most likely white from the neighborhoods where the attacks occurred. But even when news media's reports of black on white rape make the race of the perpetrator evident (which the media only does in a minority of instances), no explicit reference is ever made to the racial aspect of the case. Each story of black on white rape is reported in isolation, not presented as part of a larger pattern. There is never the slightest mention of the fact that white women in this country are being targeted by black rapists.
